Elections Matter!

Kimberly's most recent focus was on the election of pro-education candidates to the White House. Now our attention is on the Governor's Mansion and the General Assembly in Richmond, to improve the course of policy related to our public schools. She has proudly worked with educators from across the Commonwealth. Our association members across Virginia are saying loudly that we are worth our pay raises and the elected leaders must increase funding for our priorities - and Governor Northam is listening! Continuing on the success of the 5% raise, our next Governor must continue to ensure our seat at the table. Kimberly knows that this gubernatorial election and the 100 seats in our Legislature are the focus. Friends of Education are necessary to move the needle on funding, class sizes, support employee caps, and so much more. As a monthly easy-pay member Kimberly is personally invested in this work.

Kimberly understands that we must be active in setting education policy and collaborating on bills in Richmond that make our public schools better places for our staff and our students' future!
